Supporting the Change in Our Workplace

 

At the time of the release, a significant amount of change will occur in the way we work. The GEMS team has developed a series of activities to help us manage these changes.  As a HR Administrator or a Self-Service User, we need to know what type of activities to expect before, during and after GEMS is implemented. Provided below is an overview of some of the activities that we will be involved in:

For HR Administrators

·  Mass Briefing

o    Provides information about GEMS, the changes it will bring and the training workshops that will be conducted.

 

·  Training Workshop

o    Provide comprehensive training on how to use GEMS.

For HR Administrators

·   GEMS ‘Go-Live’ Activities

o     Email notifications and a roving team will be provided to support the changes occurring on the actual day.

 

·   Feedback Surveys

o     Surveys will be made available to comment on how GEMS was implemented in our department and/or ministry. 

 

For Self-Service Users

·  Self-Service Road Show

o     Provides a showcase of GEMS and the functions available for self-service users.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Our GEMS Events

In every event or activity conducted, there are several benefits that can be gained from it. The GEMS team conducts these events to ensure that we have the best possible experience during our transition to the new system. Ensure to take the opportunity to attend the events mentioned below.  

As a HR Administrator

• Understand the skills required to operate GEMS
• Apply our new skills in a safe and comfortable environment
• Know the various functionalities of GEMS in detail

• Prepare for the arrival of GEMS
• Know the support provided during the transition
• Use our newly acquired skills in real time with GEMS

• Learn how GEMS can help us
• Know the various online services available to us
 

Change Champions and Agents - Supporters of Change

 

In every department or ministry, a local Change Network Champion and Agent is appointed to support the change activities that will be occurring in our workplace.

With the support of the Change Champions, our local Change Agents will help to inform us of:

 

o        any upcoming events related to GEMS

o        any information and news on the progress of GEMS

 

Tip : Expect to hear special announcements made by our local Change Agents in the next few months.
