On the 8th February 2010,
GEMS Self Service functions will be made available
for all Self Service Users. Self Service functions are
online transactions that users can make or request without
going through their respective HR User.

CBT (Computer Based Training) programs and a useful FAQ (Frequently

Self-Service Booklet
The Self-Service Booklet is a reference guide on how to
use the Government Employee Management System (GEMS) as a
Self-Service Employee. It provides useful information on what GEMS
has to offer for all Self-Service Users. This booklet contains
information on :

What GEMS Means to You- a list
of various online services by modules that GEMS has to offer and
how it can benefit the Self-Service User.

Getting Started with GEMS- The
minimum system requirements that are needed in order to have a
smooth experience when using GEMS on your machine will be
clarified on this section of the booklet.

Functionalities- This section contains set of guides that
can assist in enhancing your technical skills to effectively use
GEMS in performing any self-service transactions like signing in
and out and instructions on navigating around GEMS.
